1AudioFor2 is another in-development audio extension for Game Maker Studio 2.3. The name is short for 1Engine Audio for GMS2.3. Imagine using this homebrew thing instead of some actual middleware.

1AudioFor2 aims to recreate the common functionality provided in Game Maker, supplemented with some extra audio effects.

Currently it supports:

• Loading WAV and OGG, with multiple sources reusing the same sounds
• Pitching audio and seamless looping
• Simple 3D audio and left-right delay
• Simple low pass filter

A sample is provided for download. Quick notes on how it works may be found on the project's Github readme.

This is an open source extension that is currently in development. Those interested in the backing C++ code may peruse it on Github.
